Unhappy I'm stuck in the middle of installation!!

I'm installing my K&N intake right now. After I loosen the intake tube hose clamp at the throttle body and unclamp the clamps at the air box, do I just pull the tube out of the engine body? It was very tight when I tried to pull it off the engine. Everything is detached but the tube. Maybe it's just b/c of the cold weather. Little help would be very appreciated!!!!

I hate it when threads have incomplete subjects ...

Subject should be something like "Having trouble with K&N intake installation .. please help"

I'm sorry. I will be careful at that. I was just trying to crab people's attention.

are you talking about the rubber intake or the silicone sleeve over the throttle body?

Sorry to make such a big deal about it, but inappropriate subject titles cause many people that might be able to help you to ignore the thread while causing curious people that can't help to waste their time.

The rubber intake. I'm sorry if I was not specific enough. But, ya, the stock rubber intake tube.

i just did mine tonite... you just got to give it a real good pull. youll be okay... the throttle body is metal so i mean you can only pull and cause damage to the rubber tubing which youre replacing anyways so just yank her out!
