I have not butt in the 08' c-class yet, but every time when I sit in a C/E class Merc, I always feel the interior is crappier year after year.
Those pictures always have nicer look to fool peeps.
I believe if you spend enough time just to play with the buttons and ***** inside a Mercedes, you would agree Lexus makes better quality cars.
Thanks for the pictures.

just as I thought the outcome would be. I also had a poll at mbworld.org, my old forum for when I owned my C-Class. Everyone here was bias towards the IS, and everyone there was bias towards their Mercedes. HAHA
I guess I should of saw that coming. I really love my Lexus, but wouldn't mind looking into the new w204. I guess you really can't go wrong with a company (LEXUS) that won most dependable brand of the year for 12 consecutive years!

How many of the MB owners on the MB forum have had a Lexus? Many of the owners here have owned one, including yourself. Reliability is a huge factor, but many would agree that overall quality is higher in the Lexus.

OMG you are so right! Lots of people here have owned a Mercedes. Almost none of the MBWORLD guys have ever owned a Lexus. Reliability is huge. That was the major factor in me purchasing the Lexus.

It looks ok... If i looked correctly, it still has a whole where you can/need to put a key. Im so spoiled by the push button start in the IS that there is no way i can ever go back to using a key again...

Thats the problem with Mercedes. Everything is an option, not standard. Keyless go is an option.

I just sold my C230 last week and it was very unreliable. In other words if your going to own a Mercedes make sure you own it under warranty. My brother just turned 16 and he is in love with them after he saw the pics last week so Im going to take him to look at the demo that they are getting in a couple of months. I'll take pics and test it out.

I don't care as much for the new C class - the interior has gotten worse. I do like the new Cadillac CTS and the interior seems better than the C class based on photos (GM has potential to be a let down in person if quality has not improved in materials).

My 2 cents. I find the previous C-class to be gorgous from the outside. The interior was not worthy of the asking price. It drove and felt like an old car.
I am sure the new C-class will drive better but it will be overpriced surely and continue to have poor reliability. What hurts me the most is the looks, I think it looks like a Korean car and have no German proportions whatsoever.
Add what looks like the worst interior in this class and well, if you like the badge, buy it.
Otherwise, seems like tons of better choices than this car, looking at preliminary specs.
