the way the double sided tape is on there is a little weird.

wont there be a minimal gap between where there is no double sided tape on the CF and the dash?

would it be possible to use some spray adhesive instead? that would be even thinner than the 3m double sided tape and it would stick the whole piece instead of just the edges.

I like these not only for the look, but it will also protect our interior also... But yeah, any love for us manual drivers?

For a manual, all that has to be kept in the design is the "U" shaped part of the lower console. The manual boot takes up all the area where the auto shifter is. Since it'd be less carbon, maybe us manual guys can get it at a lower price.

Even at $425, it's not a ridiculous price for retail. For people that expect this to be extremely cheap will be fooling themselves.

i think the doublesided tape is very thin already, so it shouldn't be a problem. maybe if they get it w/o the tape, they can just ship w/o it. i've seen it on an IS, and it looks pretty darn good.

Wow, $425 list? Cheaper then I had thought. Can't wait for the GB pricing. Might be a very sweet number right Luis?

Additional pics are looking good! This might be a good way to solve the problem of the cheap-looking "metallic" plastic a lot of us have... Or to cover up the wood for ppl who don't like that look...

Interested in GB. Please post pricing for CL GB.
I also wonder if we can remove the 3M tape and spray adhesive. Please let us know if there are different ways to attach to oe ones.
