I've never owned a clear bra on any car before my Is and the $500 I spent on it was well worth it today. I was driving along and a huge piece of what looked like bark dust (4 to 5 inches wide and 3 thick) came flying at me and whacked the front of my car with a thud. I was expecting damage. When I looked, the piece had clearly tagged the top of my metal grill piece and up the front hood where the bra was. Clear wood markings. The metal had a little ping in it but I literally rubbed out he wood on the clear bra. Not even a mark in the bra (remember, it was a loud thud that I heard from inside with my stereo at 40).

Well worth it!! I have no doubt that it would have damaged the paint.
