If it is totaled, then he doesn't own it, the insurance company does.

The insurance company can buy it from him if he wants to sell it to them. Otherwise, he can salvage the car himself and take whatever amount the insurance company offers him. He also has the option of selling them the stock car and keeping the aftermarket parts for himself.

I think that's how it works if you own the car/title. Don't know how it works if financed or leased it, cause it's not your car.

no care...period.

Just an observation, but why are there so many people on this forum that have totaled cars or accidents? Too much car, for too little skill IMO.

Are you retarded?

It's an IS350, not a Z06.

Clearly, you're in the group he mentioned. 306 hp is a lot of power for a cocky 16 year old that's still too dumb to know that they don't know anything.

When the insurance rates for these cars go up because of all of the "retarded" parents with too much money and too little sense, those of us actually paying for their own cars and insurance will be pissed.

Maybe cause some people think the 250/350 is a sports car.

That's exactly what happened to my RSX. All the sudden I see a bunch of kids totaling their RSX on the forums and then my insurance started to go up every year. The insurance company told me the car was statistically a big risk to them.
