Default Question about the NAV...from a new guy

I know there may be a thread on this somewhere but my friend showed me a sequence of buttons to press on the NAV to enable the input of new destinations while you are driving. Apparently it doesn't work on 2007 models. Is there another way of doing this without having to re-wire anything?

As they say, short answer NO long answer....
YES

There is a way. You need a dual layer dvd burner and access to the old 5.1 nav disk. You then make a copy of your new 6.1 disk with the file (loading.kwi) from the old 5.1 disk. You then will have a new disk, with new map information that works like the old 5.1 disk with regard to the "over ride function".

There is a thread on this somewhere just do a search you will find it.
