Default Red Out Tail Light

I just installed the vinyl red out tail light on the IS Sunday. I ordered them off Ebay. It was a super easy install and looks great. I even managed to get a photo of it illuminated so you can see what it looks like when lit up.

Nice job. I noticed that the RVinyl film matches better than the Aerotect. How much is the RVinyl? Nice color combo by the way.

You can get the RVinyl film for 9.99 precut. I did mine, but that's before they made them precut. I bought a whole 18-20 sheet for 23 bucks and cut it myself. Here you go http://www.rvinyl.com/cart/store.php...on=show_detail

It comes with everything you need. I used my fingers to remove the bubbles instead of a credit card. I didn't want to scratch the film in any way and it worked great.

The package has instructions in it, and I am telling you, it is super easy. You just have to make sure that all the bubbles and water is out (just use a CC).

I actually got it on ebay. It came pre-cut. There was very minimal trimming needed. The Ebay seller is: firearm01. He is out of New Orleans. It was a total of $13 with shipping, and he has super fast shipping. He sells Yellow Vinyl for the fog lamps if you want it also.

I think my next mod if the illuminated scuff plates.

For some reason I was under the assumption that you had to take the taillights out to do this mod.

So you just put the film over the taillights?

yeah its just a thin film of vinyl that goes over the rear turn signal. I just used a spray bottle with water and sprayed it down and applied then I got a hair dryer, thats it
