Default Who makes our Navi Units?

Does anyone know who makes our navi units? I was looking thru the crutchfield catalog and these models by eclipse look VERY similar to ours. Their accessories are also similar, except of course they have a tv tuner option, acessory inputs as well

Fujitsu Ten makes them (I believe along with another manufacturer). They also own Eclipse.

The aftermarket Eclipse nav in my GS is very similar to that in my LS430 (fourth gen)

Edit - I guess I should clarify there is a relationship between Fujutsu and Denso and they have joint companies (Fujitsu Denso International Limited)

Just found this on the Rx forum.
Think I'll work?? Looks promising, anyone tried it. Maybe we no longer need to get nav hack

Seach for 'lockpick' and you'll find a bunch more threads on it.

I've got one and am installing that plus the Vais SLI this Friday in my LS... can let you know how it works but you probably should get feedback from someone with 5th gen. Navi

Edit - quick search doesn't look good

Wow! I'd love to get rid of my "I agree" screen and be able to input addresses while driving w/o having to use an override command.

Doesn't list it compatible with the 2IS though.

If they can actually make something for the IS, $299 for the whole kit isn't bad at all.

This should look pretty familiar to nav owners. It's from Eclipse's web site. Fujitsu-ten is their parent company.

This is correct! The IS was just rated in the top ten Nav system in PC magazine. They say it's made by Denso.

By the way, Denso's advancements on NAV Systems are simply astounding !!

Hopes Lexus listens to CL members for the next NAVI revision of our beloved IS.

That ranking seems a little silly. Why would they rank the A4's system, for example, but not the S4's, due to "low volume"? Isn't it the exact same system??

Good to see the IS so far up on the list. I've heard the Acura systems are amazing, so no surprise to see them up there as well. I've never seen the Zephyr's nav... It must be awesome to beat out Acura and Lexus.
