the car is still under warranty, if these problems dont get fixed by your third visit to the dealer , there s the lemon law.

where in FL are you?

Since he got the car used I do not think he can use the Lemon Law in this case.

Did you get it used from the dealer? Was it a CPO with 100k mile warranty? Are you sure the smoke is not steam?? Because condensation gets built up in the exhaust and there will be steam from the exhaust for the first few minutes or so while idle.

In in Miami and I usually go to Lexus of West Kendall, its near my house.
...what's Lemon Law ???

I got the car used at a BMW dealership in Pembroke Pines, FL. I can imagine the "smoke" being steam...but then again the damn thing LOOVES to steam b/c it happens nearly everytime I have the car idle..

As far as my problems being checked out..the "Check VSC" light loves to come on frequently..and my brakes are beginning to squeek..and loudly btw..

I got the car used @ 6,139 miles..it now has 12,130 and I can imagine the brakes never got changed..how much would that be ?

It just sucks that I have to go back in for the same things. This would be my 4th time going in for service...

As stated, I don't think the Lemon Law applies to used vehicles. I'm not a lawyer though, so I can't say with 100% certainty.

my brakes squeal too i heard others has had this problem too. Mines new tho but its annyoing as hell. As for steam/smoke it will always be there while the car is warming up once its all warmed up you should see no more smoke/steam.

I think the only real problem you have is the check vsc light. Have them fix that first. If you go into the dealer and you tell them multiple problems with the car they will fix the easiest problems first and I bet they wont spend so much time to figure out the "check vsc" light.

For the sqeaky brakes. You need to do a stop from 80-0 once or twice and that should get rid of the squeak brakes.
