I would say no.

If you have your trip computer display on the “gear mode” and leave the car in automatic (not sport mode) you will see that the tranny always up shift to 5th and 5th overdrive, even at 30 mph. The slowest speed I have seen it shift up to 6th is about 47mph.

If you shift it with the paddle shifters, you have the tendency not to shift to higher gears, thus getting less gas mileage. If you leave it in sport mode and shift up to 6, it does its own thing anyway. The paddle shifters are more for racing.

Just put premium gas in it, don’t be so hard on accelerating, and you’ll get better mileage.

haha i doubt it since the paddle shifters suck so bad that when you hit them to shift at a low rpm like 2500 they wont actually shift for like 2 more seconds . You will be at 4000 by them

I would have to say no due to the delay in shifting.
