Since some countries like China and Middle east have the 2nd Generation Lexus IS300. Would you buy it if it exist in your country? would you buy it instead of your current ISx50?

just asking

I definitely would have considered it if it had the same 245hp as the GS300.

+1

you'll see some people respond that the 250 motor is a more advanced engine with better MPG but, GS300 owners have reports very close to if not the same highway MPG.

I think it's inevitable for them to upgrade the IS250 to an IS300 with the new 3.0 of the N.American GS300 (not the old 3.0 currently available in China & some other countries etc.) if they want to keep sales up.

I think they're talkinga bout the current IS, but with a 300 engine (possibly the same in the 3rd gen GS300?)

depends on the price difference as well, the IS350 doesn't cost much more than the 250 so if the IS300 cost more than the 250 ppl would might as well as buy the 350.

Depends. At around 4.3K difference, between the AT IS250 and the AT IS350... the 350 offers a signifigant value.

A 4 piston brake upgrade, and bigger brakes all around is probably worth $2500 alone. When you couple that with the VDIM, and the extra 102HP... its hard to beat for about a 4.3K difference.

However, If the IS300 came with the 245 3G GS300 motor, and cost about the same as the 250(less than 1K more)... I would have really considered it

I can see a few 350 owners buying a 2G IS300, if the IS300 had 245HP, had an AWD option, had a manual option.

Personally, I would have bought a hypothetical 2G IS300 AWD(as long as it were 1.5-2K less than the IS350

Yeah I'm pretty sure I would've purchased it over the IS350 but only if it was atleast $3000 less.

Between the 250, 300, 350, and F, I would choose the hybrid...
