Default Looking to purchase an 06' IS350

I've been lurking around and found this site very useful.

I need some input on the deal I found:

Lexus Dealer
2006 IS350
Sports w/navi and spoiler
White w/blk leather interior
3,000 miles
Mint inside and out
$36,500
Purchased: 6/15/06
Bought and traded from same dealership. Owner felt it was too small for his family.

I don't want to spend more than $35k, but I think the low miles is worth it.

Opinions please

I'm sure you can talk them down on the price, since the car was traded at the same dealer they are making a ton of money so there is more room for negotiating.

I spent 2+hrs trying. Car was listed at $39K and dropped down to $36,500. They also threw in 3 oil services

If you can get it for $35K, then I would say take it. It has 3K miles, which is nothing. I paid $40K for sport/nav/mark levinson, new.

I would say the same and I guarantee you they will come very close to 34.

At the end of October, I got a NEW 2006 Black on Black, NAV, premium for 36,500 (plus tax) in Beverly Hills. E-mail a few fleet managers at a bunch of Lexus dealers with what you want. They work on volume, not by the dollar. You can get one for 35K

I think NY (east coast) is harder to get deals like this. Dealers on Long Island never come down that much

I bought a brand new 06 in Jan07 with a 44K msrp for 36.9K in NJ...

I think their price is high for a used one....but if its completely loaded and your color....haggle the best you can then decide for yourself.

I think you can get better then $35k for a used car. My buddy has been looking for the last month for a Red 07 350 loaded and every dealer in AZ has been offering him $35k for a NEW 06 IS350 loaded..

I'd say try to talk them down if you can. Mine didn't have NAV but with 8k, I was able to get it for 32995. Here in Seattle, I saw one sell for 31995 with 11k on it.

Try the Edmunds Used Car Appraiser... http://www.edmunds.com/used/2006/lex...3/options.html

Good luck!
