Sounds really angry, maybe a bit too loud for daily use.

Thanks for the pics! Looks good!

I wonder how much difference in sound there would be if you had used a dual in / dual out Magnaflow resonator with integrated X-pipe.

Hi JB IS350X,

Absolutely amazing sounding exhaust and mod!!!!

Your setup looks virtually identical (with minor differences) to mine on my GS400. I can't believe how similar it is. From the first set of cats just under the engine all the way to the back. X-pipe, removed resonators etc. Almost identical to yours!

For those of you saying it is too loud - keep in mind that he is accelerating very hard in the vid and that is the main reason why it is so loud. Under normal driving conditions, it won't be half as loud.

What kind of camcorder did you use to capture the vid? I can't believe how well it captured the sound when you accelerated away in the beginning of the vid. Just amazing!!!

I was so excited and happy to see yours, I had to show you mine. I am not trying to steal your thunder (no pun intended)

Compare yours to mine (first pic is yours ofcourse)

Here is mine (if you are interested in the vid of mine, it is in my sig.)

both of your exhausts look great, however i personally would have installed two resonators. it probably would have had a much nicer tone through the powerband

Sound, like looks is very subjective.

I love mine the way it is without the resonators. With the resonators in, it would be too quiet and tame sounding as the resonators muffle the sound quite a bit.

yea, thats the point. more power without sounding like an ******* :-D

don't get me wrong i know some people love to hear every tone of the combustion as possible, but some of us just want to hear that through the top half of the power band.

so how did you get the work done? i would imagine most shops wouldn't be keen on removing the second cat, or were they unaware? not sure if this applies to your GS

On my GS I did not remove any cats. I only modified everything past the first set of cats which incidentally are bolted on right after the headers.

On the GS, it has three resonators - see this pic of the stock exhaust

Those are actually full mufflers That was the next step if it was too loud... We do the 3 muffler setups on corvettes quite often because they get loud with the built engines and no cats... I run the same setup on my C6 as well
