I remember seeing something on the internet, an accessory that holds stuff instead of the ashtray (don't know what they call it), stuff like keys, coins, other little stuff.

I really feel bad about the dashboard, which it doesn't have any room for your daily stuff (Phone, keys..etc), though I still don't have the car

yeah i ordered it and it took forever to come so i cancelled. glad i did because i removed my ash tray and my ipod nano fits in the space perfectly.

Yes it does. It also comes with a leather covered separator so you can have a lower hidden compartment. Can't remember what I paid for it in Japan, but it was definitely a bit less than $185.00!!!

I may lengthen the wires for the cigarette lighter and move it to the glove box.

Same here. My treo fits great in there along with some papers.
