I recall that before we got this horrible weather in Toronto, I noticed that whenever i pressed the *** (not turned it) to open my sunroof, it would open 9/10th of the way. To get it to fully open, i had to use the **** and turn it all the way. I also have the same problem when using the remote fob to lower my windows and open my sunroof. The windows open all the way, but the sunroof only opens 9/10 of the way (i think). Is this normal?

Thats because when Lexus designed the sunroof it set the maximum air flow and loudness of the air going over the roof to that position. If you notice when you have it all the way back air noise is noticeably louder
