You need to black out those bumper reflectors . . . now

 

I live in the same general area as you, and there the # of cops with nothing to do per capita is pretty high. You WILL get ticketed with that setup. It's obvious from your photo that the light output is greatly diminished. When the sun is blaring in August and there's a glare on your back window, I hope you can manage to avoid an accident.

Sorry, but this is a mod I would never do. There are blue hairs on the roads all over the place in S. Florida. They can't see you in normal conditions, much less with blacked out tails.

That setup + old people + I75/I95/Turnpike/Sawgrass/595 = medical helicopters landing on the highway. Be safe out there.

 

i did it and i've had noo problems. accidents are going to happen, the chance that it happens do to the fact that ur tails are blacked or smoked out is very very low. for me the great looks weighs out that chance, but evryone has a different opinion this is just mine.

In terms of law enforcment in s.fl, the cops really have nothing better to do, this is especially true in boca, i dont think this is going to be a very big problem just try to avoid getting directly in front of a cop during the day, and at night the cops really cant tell

the reflectors although painted will still reflect like they would if unpainted

in florida its perfectly legal if the lights can be seen from more then 1000 feet thats the law and my tails can be seen from way furter then that and also the third brake light is thir and if some one cant see that they shouldnt be on the road.......
At night and in the day the lights when braking are very close to the third brake light which isnt tinted.
