You should be able to get way more than 30K for your IS 350. I guess it depends on the miles. Oh, you guys live in Cali. Here in IL. used IS 250 are going for around 32K. At least the last time I checked.

Love this:

The ISF *will* start and *will* be at least $60K

You work for Lexus?

Bet you I can get $45000 for my IS350 right now.

is that 358HP to the ground? If it is... $8500 without install is still way too much.

Default Supercharged IS350 vs. IS-F 0-60mph performance...

I hope I don't get flamed for this post, but, the IS-F performance numbers for 0-60 mph is about 4.9 seconds (the car is a lot heavier than the IS350).

The IS350 stock performance for 0-60 mph is about 5.4 seconds.

Given that the IS350 weight is a lot less than the IS-F, an IS350 with a supercharger with an additional 50-60 hp, should do the 0-60mph in about 4.8 to 4.9 seconds, maybe better, don't you think?

So, you would get about the same -or better -- performance than an IS-F for an additional $8500 expense (plus installation, but if you are mechanically inclined, you could probably install it yourself. I installed the supercharger on my RSX Type-S without any prior experience).

Ah, just forget it, I think I am trying to convince myself how much sense it makes to buy a supercharger, when in reality it doesn't make any sense at all, does it?
