Hi Bagwell,

If you are referring to the XenonDepot line that uses Philips components it is a separate 2 piece ballast and igniter. The older style Generation 3 ballasts were 1 piece. We are using the Generation IV 2 piece.

Hello,

Do you want any purple at all? If you want some purple go for the 6000k kit. If you just want a bright white output with a slight bluish tinge go for the 4300k kit.

Yes, 3000k is yellow and the IS uses 9006 bulbs for the fogs.

Hey XenonDepot,
I have a 2006 black IS 350 and i wanted to upgrade to HID lights. I read the thread and I think i'm goign to settle for H11 4300k XenonDepot HID Conversion Kit. Is that correct? Also, i was wondering how it actually looked on the car itself, do you have any pictures?.. Oh yeah and if i upgrade my headlights to those, would it make my fog lights look funny if i don't upgrade them too? Please help!
I was also wondering what percentage tint looks best on a black IS 350. Thanks a lot!

Oh yeah and also... will any car shop install the HIDs for me?.. I'm not much of a car expert so I don't want to mess with my new car myself. Thanks

Hi Guys,

1) The 4300k kit with the CL group buy code is $379.99 shipped.

2) Lexus52 - Many of our IS customers have this product installed by a local shop. The only thing I would suggest is to go to a reputable shop.

So im guessing everyone on here is ordering the HID kit for their 2006 IS?? Because virtually ALL 2007 IS's come with the HID's from the factory.

Dont forget 3000k HID fogs. This has been a very popular seller on this board.

Do those emit the yellowish light?

In the future I want to get matching hid's for the fogs, like in the oem headlights. But right now I cant justify paying $250+ just for hid fogs.

Am keen to pick up a kit, but am worried that installation of the kit will mess up the is250's computer (eg., "bulb failure" warning) or power window settings. Are my fears founded? Please advice!
