Stig,

I remebered from your classified ads, you mentioned that you're from Berkeley. Where did you get your XD 6000K installed and how much was the installation?

Thanks!

I was helped from a fellow CL member. So installation was free for me

I am personally not a fan of upgrading the high beams for 2 reasons:

1) HID bulbs take a moment to warm up and reach their desired light output. In situations where you need to flash someone your HID high beams will not be very functional.
2) It is strenuous on the components to have them turned on/off repeatedely ie: flashing someone.

Regards,

Steve

Not anymore, I had my other IS HID installed at that place. The guy was charging me $90. But his installation was real clean for sure.

Hi Steve,

Sorry for such a noob question, but I'm interested in getting 3000K HID conversion kit for my fog lights. What's the difference between these two products? Whic is better?

http://www.xenondepot.com//product.php?product_id=83
http://www.xenondepot.com//product.php?product_id=121

Thanks for your help.

iskcon,

The main difference between the kit is that the Xtreme line uses Asian components whereas the XenonDepot line uses German made Philips bulbs and ballasts.

In terms of quality, both are great.
