Default Kudos to Derrick @ D2AutoSport!

He was of great assistance in analyzing my desire to changeup my rims, moving from 19's back to 18's, and getting me a great bundled price.

Am going with the MRR HR1's (18x8). 235/R4018 Toyo Proxe 4 (which is an incredible bad weather traction tire). Non staggered so that I can rotate, lengthening tire life.

D2's website had a couple of pics of this wheel on a Lexus in 19's or 20's.

Again, thanks Derrick!

Default Sorry...

First, I just ordered them and Derrick said that they would be shipped to my installer next week.

Cat...you're right, but my time frame moved up with an unexpected $ bonus.

Re my 19's...the Falken wheels are trashed on the outer edge of the rim. The Toyo's have about 50% tread life left after 13,000 miles. My installer said that one of his young guys is interested in buying them, and I think I'll just cut him a good deal because of the convinience and overall condition of the used bundle.

Hope to have pics up next week. We've had snow, sleet & ice intermittently for three weeks and the roads are a mess. Impossible to keep a car clean right now.

Default 18's will

Hopefully provide more sidewall protection with our poor roads/streets/highways, especially on the Missouri side. Also, am sick when I clean these 19 Falken's and see how badly scarred they are. So am going with a rimless, concave wheel, as I find the wheels with the deep rim tough to keep clean. I'd keep the tires, but Derrick offered such a good deal on the bundle, that I'm gonna change out the whole thing. When I factor in the couple of C Notes from the kid buying the set that I have on now, I get it done for a shade over a grand.
