the is350 is in a completely different class.. but yes it still does beat all the cars in the list. that evo may match the i-s in the 1/4 mile.. and possibly out handle the i-s in a rally course.. but that's it!

I agree 0-60 times and speed is not everything. This is why I get annoyed when certain 350 owners bash IS250 owners or assume that everyone with a 250 wants a 350.

Exactly, every person has different priorities when purchasing a car. Mine were speed and interior comfort. Both of which the IS350 delivers on.

I don't think it really matters if it is a Lexus. = /
I believe it is all in preference and what kinda money you got.
For the money those cars are an awesome buy, and.. hate the say are way more sporty than ours! However, we have a little bit of luxory and refinement.. And, well.. the 350z isn't that MUCH faster. Muahaha

This thread doesn't make any sense, just because a car is more expensive doesn't mean it has to be faster. If you want a fast car for cheap, go buy a mopar stage 3 SRT4.

Buy an EVO+FP red(+support mods), you will be taking down carrera's, Z06's and vipers in no time. However, I dont think the porsche owner will be jealous.

the 07 in R&T had VDIM turned off. Could it be a difference maker? Who knows unless more mags test the 07. It could even be a tire diff, since some cars come with bridgestone and others dunlop.

I dont know how much of an abberation the 4.9 is. Other Mags (including Motortrend) got 5.1 in the 2006 with VDIM on and Trac off

Don't forget about amount of gas in the tank and weight of driver. If you have 1 gal of gas for a 0-60 run versus a full tank, and a 100 lbs japanese guy versus a 300 lbs American, it's going to make a difference.
