Default HKS headers for IS350??

has anyone else heard/seen these? When i took my car to my dealearship, Lexus of Fremont, one of the valet drivers told me he has an IS350 with hks headers. He said you have to search the hks japan website, but i have yet to come across this.

i haven't heard of this yet. I know megan makes them for the 250 which some people say would work on the 350. haven't heard about hks's though.

And why is that?? How can upgrading the factory header for a aftermarket piece be useless, especially an HKS piece????

Factory header? The car has factory headers? I thought it just had a regular exhaust manifold?

i forgot where i read about this but there was a little debate before on headers when megan racing released the 2IS headers and they came to the conclusion that there isn't a significant gain to justify the cost. could be wrong though

I think a good set of equal length headers would do wonders for our car. Have you looked at the factory exhaust manifolds? They remind me of the manifolds on my dad's POS '87 Chevy pickup.

Not that, what I mean was for PNice972 as of why he would say headers are useless.

He likely just has HKS exhaust and is simply confused on the difference between headers and exhaust. Tell him 'show me', if he shows you mufflers and tips you can give him some education.

I know casino valet in Vegas can afford some rides much better than a 350.
