yeah have a garage but with a 70 mile round trip commute the car looks the same after a couple days anyway. just the crap reality of the area i live in.

I agree. Being in Texas, the weather doesn't ever get as bad as your area but I have a friend that has one and he doesn't drive it ever anywhere, when it rains, forget about it, he's not taking it out, he doesn't go on the freeway either so it takes him extra longer to get to where he needs to go. I'm always like, just enjoy your car man. oh well
I paid to much for this car to take it out there to let VDOT throw gravel & salt on it. Yeah I have a clear bra, yeah I clean it wash it. Didn't do too bad with zaino. I know its got plastic bumpers, the clear coat is suppose to protect the paint.
I can't do it. I can't take it out there in this weather. I have a Jeep, Montero & D-Ram for the winter. The car & motorcycle have the trickle chargers on them right now. Hell no, worked to hard to get this car. When the Lexus comes out in the winter time, it is only on sunny dry days. maybe this Saturday.
That salt will attack anything. I had to replace rear brake lines on my truck, year before last. salt ate them. I hate salt, except on a tomato, or on the rim of margarita glass.
