Not really, but I washed it and took a dry towel to wipe off some water and i got some swirls! They're not TOO bad but, if you stand at about 45deg from the light's reflection, you can see some....

I cleaned about 3/4 of hood, and driver side (front to back) and realized it so, I stopped Immediately! Atleast, the other half is good! The good thing is that, it's only visible if you look in certain direction or you put your face right in the body....

I have been using Bras on both our Lexus, my wife's GX470, the 2003 SC430 I had before I traded it for a 2007 IS350, being in Florida with the lovebugs which can really screw up a car's paint, the Bra is the best thing in the world. But need to correct you guys on something, in the 5 plus years we have used the Bra never and I said never had a problem with them damaging the paint. I wash the cars once a week and take the Bra off and clean the underside, then make sure the car is completely dry before putting it back on. The paint under the Bra still looks brand new, no scratches, no swirl marks. If you take care of it the way it is supposed to be taken care of, you will not have any paint problems.

Default What Brand?

I ordered a Colgan from Autosanything for my 07. It fit but I could not close the hood. Returned it for full credit.

What brand and model are you using on your 2007 IS??

Thanks

would it be a bad idea just to tape off the front bumper and side view mirrors for just a day....
I wouldn't because the sun is going to bake that tape on even if it just a day.
