Default Perforated Leather issue....

So... it may pain people to hear this, but my friend threw up in my car. I managed to clean everything up, however since I have the perforated leather seats, I can't clean everything in the little holes. You can see where the spot was, only because of the little holes....

Any ideas? Would a professional be able to get it out?

A shop-vac maybe? I would definitely take it to a professional. Puke smells have a tendency to linger...

Have your friend pay to have it fully detailed...i'm guessing he was drunk because who can't signal you to pull over if they're going to puke?...unless your friend was 3.

haha, i cant imagine the ***** storm that would come if some drunkass friend of mine puked in my Lex.

I'm gagging as I read this. Man, I don't envy you. When my kids were young, we were taking one of my son's friends home. He barfed in the back seat. The car smelled so bad, I had to have the carpeting replaced.

Anyway, I digress. You may try a hoover steam vac machine using upholstery attachment. Use a mild soap solution, suction it off and then dry with a towel. But it is probably best to take it to a professional. I'm sure they have seen this before. Good luck.

I almost had this happen to me, but luckily i was able to unbuckle him and reach over and open the door and push him out right before he started puking...this was after he had 2 or 3 margaritas and 11 double shots of Jack Daniels. He ended up passing out so we had to take him home in the back of this guy's truck. It was such a hassle.

That totally suck. I had a similar incident happen to me recently. For this types of situations, you might need a professional to do the job. You can get it detail at lexus dealership, but it will cost you around $700.00 at magnussen lexus of fremont or any lexus dealership. I wasn't going to spent that much. I also check my local car wash place near by, it cost about $100 to $150 to do the job. It seem reasonable at the time. They got the most of smell out and all the stains..but the guy told me to keep my windows down whenever I was driving and leave my windows on both sides about 1 inch open to let the air in for about a week or so.After a week, it all went away.

Also, I heard there's a place in near the SJ airport on the corner of Coleman ave and W Taylor St. I forgot the name. They charge a reasonable price. Good luck!
