Don't just go by what other people said unless! Haha, I was one of "those people" until my rear spoiler arrived from lexus-parts.com

The spoiler has the usual double-sided tape but also 3 built-in screws that protrudes from the spoiler base, meaning you pretty much have no choice but to drill holes and install it as designed.

i got it for $180 shipped and will have my dealer install at the lexus hourly labour rate. My dealer wanted $515 installed if i buy it from them, so i still save a load of money on parts alone buying it from Sewell.

It's a lexus, i wouldn't trust anyone else (including myself) to install it. How embrassing would it be to driving a lexus and having the spoiler fall off on the highway...

^^^ not true, you can still install yourself w/out drilling holes. I simply cut the 3 screws off with a dremel (or you can grind them off if you have a grinder) and use the factory tape to secure to your trunk lid. If you're paranoid, you can put extra 3M doubled sided tape where the screws were for added adhesion. My OEM spoiler looks great, has no gaps, and definitely hasn't lifted, shifted or fallen off at highway speeds . . .
