I dropped my car off yesterday because of a strange pull on the car. The car will pull either left or right only when I am breaking, and it only happens when the wheel is already turned a little left or little right(not when it is straight). Road conditions also have an effect on how hard it pulls. The explanation from the dealer is that is that all the IS's drive this way. I don't have a dealer near me so I can't drive another IS250 any time soon. Anybody else have this problem or is the dealer full of it?![Egads!](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/pat.gif)
UPDATE: Got a call today explaining that I have Bridgestone and not Dunlop tires on my car. Now I am completely confused and don't know why it is pulling. I am now wondering if anybody with the Bridgestone tires has noticed the pull.

nah it happens, happens to me less and less it seems now but it happens.
i would say it has happened less since i replace my wheels tires and went to 35f 30r sidewalls with 8.5 9.5 widths. that might be the solution, just wider wheels/tires.

Your subject line is right, you're not the only one with this problem. I have it with my IS as well and is currently trying to get the dealer to replace my tires. They tried an anlignment, but that didnt fix it. You can read more about this problem on the post below:

There have been reported problems with IS's which want to drift one way or the other. Some have had their tires replaced by Lexus in an attempt to cure the problem, with varying degrees of success. Some point to the Dunlop Sport Maxx's as being more prevalent for this problem. It seems to be a hit or miss proposition.
My '06 has Dunlop's and it tracks straight and true, no problems whatsover.

To be honest it's probably a combination of the road surface and the width of the tires. Heavily used road surfaces get grooves from the repeated vehicular traffic. Cars with wide tires will tend to tramline along these grooves. If you brake or accelerate and your tyres aren't quite in the grooves the steering will pull one way or another. On highways it's more pronounced on the part of the roads that HGVs use.
