Default Shift to p range??

I was trying to get my IS 350 out of the ice today and a message came on that said shift to p range?? whats that mean?

just means put it in park... maybe you opened your door in gear? did it beep at you?

yeah they're just asking you to put it in park...maybe the car knows and it doesn't want to move haha...

LOL batmobile I was thinking the same thing it was saying SHIFT ME TO PARK AND GET THE F OUT

in retrospect I think maybe the door was open...
