Default Another IS250 Bye Thread

So after months of thinking and comparing the two cars, I've sold my GFM IS250 AWD for a 2007 Satin White Pearl STi. And I have no regrets, this is truly the car for me. I thought I was ready for a luxury car, but it turns out I wasn't.

And for those who are thinking, "Why didn't he get a IS350 in the first place?" I need AWD as I snowboard alot and live in Utah.

Thanks for those who contributed in my previous thread (http://sr1.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=258971)

As a former owner of both an Eagle Talon Tsi/AWD and a B5 Audi S4, I concur that a fast turbocharged car with all wheel drive and a manual transmission is a recipe for smiles. Enjoy it!!

Yes, i miss my '97 Talon TSi AWD.... the only turbocharged AWD 5MT manual couple south of $25K.... i think the only other turbo AWD coupe would be the 911 Turbo!

Congrats on the STi, it's a wickedly fast car! The IS will still be around when you decide it's time to retire to a luxury car.. lol.

I didn't know AWD makes that much of a difference. I lived in Utah for 9 years so I know what it's like up there. It was fun skidding on black ice, lol. My dad still lives up there and I'm headed up that way this Christmas to visit.

One time, I attempted to do a parallel park skidding on the opposite side of the road. There were no cars present so I can do it.
