16.5" from the bottom fender to the bottom sidemarker...3" from the end of the fender (by the door) to the end of the sidemarker....got the measure ments from 'ISbb' which has them standard on his car...also they are sopost to be slightly slanted, but i dont like how they look slanted so i had them install it stright...
the OEM harness isnt a MUST, you just need two female connectors small enough to fit into the little light pins. they will still work the same =p

I had the parts for 6 months and I cannot find shops with enough confidence to perform a clean installation on this thing.
I spoke to 4 shops already and I think my firends in these shops know my "level of acceptance", and that is why I still have the pair in trunk.
Don't under estimate this $20-buck-a-pair sidemarkers.
The tolerance is no more than 1mm on a 2"x0.5" (approx) open on the fender.
The markers are in DISPOSABLE packages; that means when the marker is bad, I will need to apply strong parallel force (along with the body) and push out the chunk and replace with another one but leave no further bending and tearing on the opening. What about water leak? What about the fender clear-film? What if the hole went too big and need fixup and color blending?...
I almost... almost... went with JDM fenders with precut opennings.
I know, I am a checken
.
I hope I save you some money here.

There is no connectors. Need to DIY the wires also, and that is not the hard part.
I agree with more BMW look, but I think it is more JDM look to be true because all 2ISs in Jap have that.
US_2IS != JDM_2IS ( !=, is not equal to )
Not pre-wired, and it is not standard like JDM 2IS...
Because right-hand-side driving in Jap. I have removed the dash once, not the same as the JDM version, close but can't compare. I know at least two connectors are missing, out of ... 200 connectors?!?.
I was talking to my friend at Yokohama Lexus dealer.
