Default Power Mode vs Normal Mode

Hi guys, On the IS 250 AWD what mode do you guys set it to? Power mode or just normal mode? if I put it under power mode will get I better mpg? or less? Thanks

I leave mine in "Power" mode.

mines on normal too, and if i want more "power" i just use the shifting thing

I haven't really noticed a difference in mileage. I do feel the extra oomph (quicker throttle response, etc.) The only thing I don't like is the jerky downshifts when coming to a stop.

um... what's the major difference between power and normal mode. If anyone knows please post a reply

Power will give you better throttle response, faster down shifiting, holding onto a gear slightly longer than normal. It will decrease your MPG slightly though.

just experiment with it, a day or two with it on, a day or two off. You'll notice the difference both on the street and on the highway.

power mode adjusts the shift points to keep the rpm's in the powerband longer.
