All,

I've been searching for a place to install a clear bra ... and when I spoke to their representative, he offered Llumar tint as well ... for the entire car, for $265. The car I'm getting is Tungsten Pearl with black leather ... and I'm thinking about getting my windows tinted ... wanted to find a good shop in the DC/MD/VA area ... that knows how to tint the 2IS ... where you have to remove the doors, etc.

Any recommendations? The place that was recommended to me for the clear bra install was:

Is $265 for the bra alone? It sounds cheap! Have you seen their work?

I have been quoted $450 for 3M bra from a reputable shop in Rockville. Plus about $200 for tint.

Hey,

Their quote for a clear bra was $995 for the complete kit for the IS plus tax. He said the upper kit is generally 595.00 by itself, and the lower kit is 595.00 by itself, but purchased together you get a discount.

The kits consist of hood, fender, mirrors, door edges, headlights, foglights and complete front bumper.

He's also offering Llumarr window tint with a lifetime warranty as well. Price for a sedan is 265.00...

Not sure if that's the standard price ... or not.

What place in Rockville were you quoted for the clear bra? I live in Rockville as well!
