Wow. Those are the first rims I've seen that look good with the IS. All the other rims I've seen looked like ghetto pimped up rides. It's hard to find rims that suit the look of the car.

rims looks perfect, the rear lip would look sick if it was carbon fiber

I wonder how stable/sturdy are the 2 pieces of the spoiler that attaches to the rear quarter panels - looks like it can easily be pulled off?

Call Joe, he is the owner and the guy that makes the wings. Mine was the first protoype
You must be a pretty persuasive guy, because I have personally seen Joe say in print that WW will not touch a car if its not German! Well either that or all the revenue that they were missing out on! lol

You are 100% correct and I have this conversation with alot of people (especially 350 owners looking for less expensive wheels). Although they dont have the lip, the stagger is very apparent and the lines of the wheels flow GREAT with the car.

Enjoy!

those rims really bring out the lines of the car. i must agree i was looking at the BBS rims and i wanted rims with a lip but this has thrown a curve ball into things. thanks for D2 Auto for the quick response on the quote for the wheels and rims. will be intouch very soon!

do you have any pics of the rims on a black car? i think they look great on the silver but didnt care for them as much on the white. thanks! you have my email that i sent, you may forward the pic there if that is easier....but i am sure others would like to see more pics!!!

thanks again!

LOL I am very persuasive
I think back in the day when WW was such a small shop and could not take a huge amount of work Joe was always full of cars from the euro scene. But now, he has expanded to a much much larger facility and has a spoiler fabrication group he pretty much takes on any brand.

A great story this morning, I have two other cars and both of them have HRE wheels. Now, I love my HREs and always purchased 3 piece wheels, but the MRR is the wheel that I fell in love for the IS.

While I was driving to work today, a car beside me in traffic was honking his horn and motioning to me to lower my window. He was an older gentleman so I thought he would ask me for directions or something.

As soon as my window opened he yells out "THOSE WHEELS LOOK AWESOME!! WHAT ARE THEY? AND WHERE CAN I GET THEM?" I told him as much info as I can while rolling in traffic and he said he will look into it when he gets home.

That made my day I have never gotten a "wheel compliment" like that with my other two cars.

I'm in for the spoiler if they decide to produce them.

Also, the wheels look great. They didn't look that great when d2 had them in his vendor thread because they were head on. When you get a nice profile shot that shows the concave spokes...

i'm not really feeling the spoiler.. it reminds me of the universal m3 spoiler just extended past the trunkline. definately like the wheels though~
