has anyones tried installing the '07 vdim switch in an '06?
i remember this being one of the big points about the 07 but did anyone try to, or at least research, installing one of these?
now that i say install, isn't in the '07 the trac button just enables and disables vdim? any way to retrofit?

The switch is easy to install. Pop out the cover and pop in the switch. hahahhahaha....... I think you mean being able to disable the VDIM with the switch. I know I am being an a**. Just having some Friday fun. hahahaha....

the more i think about it the more i'm thinking it would require replacing whatever board the switches connect to to control it. the cost of the board would be probably the cost of the project.

The big problem is not the switch, but the VDIM computer system. God forbid you reprogram the VDIM, and suddenly all integrated components such as braking, traction control, and throttle response turn ugly...
