Sold/Traded an S2000 for an IS? Missing it?
#50
Yes, I still miss my S2000. I do miss taking the top down and rolling around town. But life happens and you get a job that requires a 2 hour bumper to bumper rush hour drive which in the S2000 results in worn knee from pressing the clutch 15 billion times a day.
I would love to have the S in the garage for the weekend. But I would not go back for my daily life today. I've told my wife a few times that I would like to buy a 2002 S2000 for the garage.
But I honestly love the IS350 for my life now. Haul the kids around, drive rush hour traffic and yet be able to punch the hell out of it when hitting a good freeway on ramp. The thing is so damn luxurious in a sportly way. You are backed by 300 hp that runs you in a quarter at 13.5 seconds but yet you have so many damn toys in it that you feel like captain Kurk in the captains chair on the Enterprise.
I wouldn’t roll any other way.
