Hi, I have a question regarding bout the Engine Fane, from time to time I heard it runs mad loud sometimes which mean is running at a higher RPM for about 5 seconds and then it goes back to normal. Is this normal? or am I missing something. I own an IS 250 AWD

perfectly normal. every car does it. a car cant just sit and idle and not get hot. the fan runs and the engine revs up a bit more to get more fluid through the radiator to cool it down because it doesnt have wind blowing through it.
sounds like sewing maching? like a ticking? its the direct port injection...also perfectly normal. give up the ticking and give up probably 50HP and 5mpg...i can live with the tick

Yes, it's quite normal.
Our fans quite loud indeed. If you use the A/C alot, it will not turn on as much, mainly because a fan constantly runs when you run the A/C. If not, you will tend to hear the fan come on and "feel" it through the car.
Some cars have quiet fans like the S2000.
You should hear a Mercedes fan, it sounds like a tornado is coming.
