Default aac 2 days.. 2 weeks?!

Alright. To start off, I'd emailed AAC a few times asking the basic questions, how long will you have my lights, how much will it cost, etc. I was told they had a 2 day turn around, which sounded great because my car needed to be in the shop for a week anyway. I call up AAC, give them my credit card info and go ahead and send my lights. I sent them my lights on a wednesday and the shipping store said that AAC would get my lights on monday. They got my lights on monday, but a week and a half later i still had not heard anything. They called me after having my lights for a week and a half and told me they lost my zip code. I don't understand how they "lost" my zip code when they shipped my lights back to me in the same box that i sent them out in. I could read my zip code under the label they placed over the original return label. I tried asking if maybe they could speed up the shipping since they had already had my lights for so long, but of course that costs and extra 40 dollars. I was already mad and frustrated because I haven't had my car in almost 2 weeks, and they had not even shipped them yet. I figured maybe they would try to make up for the mistake and ship just a little faster. Anyway, so the story ends and they had my lights for a good week and a half not including shipping time, and i was without my car/lights for over 2 weeks.

I'm satisfied with the outcome of my lights but I didn't think a 2 day turnaround actually took 2 weeks. I loved the BS about losing my zip code too. I'm ending my rant with a 'what happened to good ol' customer service?'

Great story! ...but, who the heck is ACC, and what did they do to your lights (and which ones) that takes two weeks?

Hey isgrrl are you talking about sending your head lights in to ACC to get the black housing done right?

wth? lost your zip code? that was a pretty weak excuse. it takes 1 minute to google somebody's zip code based on their address.
