Yup, the low beam and the fog do not match.

 

Did he not say the headlights are bulbs only whereas the foggies are HIDs?

If so, the color difference might be due to that but not to the extent that one is purple and one is green.

to me... definitely waste of money. defeats the sole purpose of HID (better illumination). I guess purplish/blue light is better then white light in terms of seeing things on the road.

good luck... hope you do not get fix it tickets either.
