Default 8000K HID head & fog lights on '07 IS
Hi,
I just have my headlight bulbs replaced to 8000K on my one month old IS. I also have 8000K HID kits installed on the fogs. Please let me know what you guys think.

ps. i'm new and would appreciate any advice or comment.

NICE! im planning to change my fogs to HID also. are you sure you headlights are 8000k? they look purplish to me and if it is..then its about 12000k, not 8000.

welcome to CL... i like the low beams they're nice... in the pic it doesn't seem like they match though... i think it would be best too if you could get your hands on 6000k...only because you'll be able to see better at night. happy modding

I'm pretty sure they're 8000K. I think they look purplish only because i just turn them on, after a couple mins, the color will be a little lighter.

Hmm that's weird.. check out mine, its 8k too.





Your car looks like it has 10k low and 8k fog

Yes I have the factory HID system. I think it comes with all 07 IS.
I don't know where the shop got them from.. may be i should call them tomorrow and ask them why the lights have different colors..
