for those who has HID as the optioned are lucky here is Macao we don't have a choice either buy the full loaded model or the standard model, so I have to install aftermarket HIDs for my headlight... Although the light pattern isn't as good as the stock HID still good enough to make me happier without them!! The thing is you should try to get the better kit and get a better shop to install them! I have them installed right in front of my eyes!

many many times better, the optics are about dead on, and the ouput is very much improved.

looks like the fogs remained the same, (did he tinker with those at all) although like I said before chances are that, thats the best output you are going to get due to lexus' wierd bulb mounting.

edit also you should have that company that you took the car to in the first place and have them pay for at least some of the money it took to get the headlights adjusted properly ( I would go for full refund of labor, and money to get it fixed) because the way they left your headlights in the first place is rediculous, doesnt even look like you would have much usable light (at least not as you do now) and would have caused safety issues to you and possibly other drivers. SO I would have a chat with the manager, because that guy that installed the kit needs some help.

Yea actually when he looked at my fog light, you could see the bulb sticking out to one side, I hadn't even noticed. he basically redid the whole install. the light output is amazing, before I was thought that stock was brighter. Also, even though the other shop did a TERRRIBLE job, I don't really want to make it public, I will say that they mostly deal with trucks though.

Definately much better, I can't believe the first shop didn't even secure the bulbs in the sockets! Still I think the cut off isn't very sharp, which is the probably due to the quality of the bulb. I would buy another quality rebased H11 bulb for the lowbeams and rebased 9006 for the fogs...

In Canada, the only way to get HID on the IS250 is to get the sports package, which runs $9600.... crazy. I wish we could buy the HID/AFS's as an package add-on or stand alone option ....
