Okay, I am thinking about cutting out the reverse light piece of the aerotect taillight mod. I like the look of this and I have noticed that some of you guys have this look. Has anyone done this? Or did you guys have them custom sprayed.

 

you should go check a local body/paint shop and see if they can do it for you. Here in Miami my friend smoked out his tails on his '05 altima and the shop let him choose how dark he wanted it and left the white reverse light area untouched, looks real nice. only charged $50. aerotect is charging like $80 for the film.

 

plus the painted taillights you can wax and care for along with your paint. who knows how long the other stuff will last and what you can do to keep it looking good.

 

I plan on getting mine sprayed in the spring.

The smoked tails look real nice but when i get my IS350 i think i'm gonna have them smoked a lil darker than yours . But then again i wanna get the SGM so i think darker would look better with it, the light smoke looks awesome with the TP .
