Anyone else use ECT Snow in traffic?

I dont know about u guys but it feel really weird driving with SNOW ect fnction enabled. I drive a 250 w/ 6speed and i tend to almost stall the car whenever i let off the clutch. to compensate for this, i have to depress teh accelerator pedal a lil more so that i dont stall the car.

For example, let's say you apply a set amount of pressure on the gas pedal.
With the SNOW ECT mode on, that amount of pressure will be equal to a much lighter pressure on the gas pedal when no ECT mode is enabled.
So pretty much, the SNOW ECT button allows you to push your engine more gently than you could without such a button.
I personally wouldn't use any of the ECT modes in a manual transmission IS, because if you're not used to the lack of response from your gas pedal, you will most likely mis-shift and stall your car.
The SNOW ECT button also helps when you have passengers, and you want to get rid of that jerky start caused by the default throttle response.
I hope that cleared things up.

snow mode
i guess i'll start using snow mode in traffic here too since gas is getting ridiculous. isn't it great that the IS has an option like that so we without snow could still save gas in the midst of record prices? i dunno if that's a coincidence intended by lexus but it's still a great secondary use! ...and also go into power mode we if really wanna push it. gas prices avg here around $3.13(regular) according to our local news and the cheapest premium i saw recently was $3.24($3.04 reg. at that station).
