i don't think in the previous thread people were hating on you or your camera phone...so there was no need to create a new thread with better pics. i just think the majority of people here don't like the chrome grill mod. besides.... you did ask for everyone's opinion in your previous thread on it....and they told you... happy modding... can't wait to see the next mod.

I completely agree. Just trying to get people's opinions, and the one above doesn't say much to what he didn't like, except he didn't like something.
I personally love the look, especially that there is an '06 Black Onyx in my area. I always like to make my cars unique.

Personally, I think theres a right and wrong way to do this. I have absolutely no problem with chrome or bling-ed out cars if done right, but IMO you made your $30k+ car look cheap and tacky. What you have done does not compliment the car. I understand there is a little bit of chrome trim around our windows, but it's subtle. Those pillars look horrible. It's reminds me of people who put chrome windshield wipers on their cars.
However, this is just my opinion. You paid for your car so you can do what you want to it. If it makes you happy, then by all means keep it.

Variety make the world go around, so you mod your car in the way that looks best to you, don't worry about what others say, don't get your nose out of joint if you ask for opinions and you don't like the responses and don’t change it because others don’t like it, if in your mind it looks good. Bottom line, you have an IS, and that ain't a bad thing. We all love these cars, so enjoy your ride bud!!!!

To the OP, I really don't like the chrome grill, it's just too bling. The chrome side pillars, well, they don't look too bad. I could live with them. They would probably look better with chrome wheels.
The moral of this story is, don't ask for opinions unless you want people to tell you the truth.
