i asked about that sound too before i drove mine off the lot. it does tick and sounds like a diesel when pulled up to a fast food restaurant. too weird! i have heard other lexus models and they sound the same so i have stopped worrying about it now.

Yea.... I don't really worry about it... I mean, they already know it's a Lexus... they must figure it should sound like that. Too bad the car's not quiet though... oh well. pros and cons.

luckily our cars have way more pros than cons.
