Default 13.64 @ 100 mph

Well I ran twice.

My best run was a 13.64 <--- First run at a drag strip EVER!!!!

So I'm pretty happy with it. As soon as I find a scanner I'll scan the TS but here is the information.

Full interior on the car, no upgrades, completely stock! I did however take the donut out, I had over a 1/4 tank of gas.

Was about 67 degrees, with about 78% humidity. Damn the humidity!

Anyway, here are my details I'm fairly sure if the weather had been drier and abit cooler 13.5s would have been mine!!!

1.17 Reaction
2.07 60 ft
5.75 330 ft
8.78 1/8
81.92 1/8 speed
11.40 1000
no MPH for 1000
13.644 1/4 @ 100.90 MPH

-------
What do you guys think?

Nice 60' time. Does your track require a helmet for under 14.00 e.t.?

Well, I burned the tires over a little.

I want to say I starte dto torque brake at the second yellow light so hopefully my transmission is okay. LOL I worry about the craziest things.

I want to say that the car was dropped at 1500 rpm, and hooked at 2k.

Yes you have to wear a helmet, doesn't matter what kinda car you got.

From what I understand the track I ran at doesn't get prepped, whatever that means, so friends of mine are competent that had I been on a prepped track with lower humidity my times would have been better! I wish my MPH was slightly higher!!

And no VSC, tire pressure at 28 psi, didn't pump up the fronts.

Very Very good 60' time for a stock IS. Good runs!

lobux: almost all require helmets if you run under 14 these days. I got busted that day that me and gernby went to ennis. My first run was 13.320 and i made it past the guy, but next run was 13.39 and he finally was like "hey you need a helment". I borrowed gernby's at that time.

Is_Mine, what was the Barometric Pressure that day?

Jsquared: any times in the 8's in the 1/8th mile are good.

Hi guys. Nice run. I just found this on the BMW forum and thought you might like to see what the "competition" brings.
BMW 335i 12.87 107.5 with wheel slip, could do better times.

We had a 335i come a few weeks back and managed to hit a 14.6 at 7,411 feet in elevation.

Wish I could get that driver and the driver of the white IS350 I have seen a few times now around here together for a race.

Not a good comparison, as he had mods and wide Drag radials.

ISMINE, good runs considering the weather. I'm sure you can easily get a 13.5 next time.
