Unhappy "Override" NAV function with 07 IS ?

Hello,

On the IS FAQ thread, we can find a link to a GS topic wich is "Override to change navigation destination while in motion".

The problem is that this trick doesn't concern the 07 IS that's equiped with latest NAV system (V6 ?). I tried this several times, there's no chance to get in that override menu...

Has anybody found a way to do this and to get the ability to change destination while moving ?

Thank you,

BlueBerry.

Thank you Jeremy.

But the thread you gave me is the same as the one I gave above.

It doesn't work, as the IS 2006/07 NAV system, is different from the pictures shown on this thread. The one we see on the pictures seems older.

I tested the trick, but it didn't work.

It is the software on your 07 disk that doesn't allow the override to work.

The 07's come with the 6.1 navigation disk.
The 06's came with the 5.1 navigation disk (with override).

If you have access to the old 5.1 disk there is a way to make a hybrid disk(loading.kwi file from 5.1 and map data from 6.1 disk)

This will allow the override function to work on your 07

Do a search there is a lot more information out there.

Not me. I'd much rather have an 07 and NO override and my 06 with the override....any day.

Thanks Markyboy, now I know what to expect.

I didn't check the label on the nav disk, but I guess you're right. I'm gonna search the forums...

If anyone has news about this, don't hesitate to complete that topic.
