Question About bending 20"s on the 2IS
I kepp going back and forth on the issue of whether i should buy 20" rims or 19" rims. The only reason i am leaning toward 19"s is because of the more tire sidewall width. On my GS400 i had 20"s with a 245/35/20 Falken 452 tire set up and i bent 2 of the rims. So my question to you ISx50 drivers with 20"s is have you bent a rim yet? I am planning on running a 235/35/20 tire. Thanks

i'm running 20's on FK452 235/30/20 in front and haven't bent my wheels. then again, i live in orange county, ca where the roads are well kept. i have ran over some average size pot holes with no damage to the rims.

If you were in
Florida/Nevada/SoCal/Arizona/Texas etc, the 20's could work, but in Massachusetts, I think you'd be asking for trouble. Maybe if you've got a beater for everyday use, and could run the IS with 20's in nice weather on great roads...
