sorry for bringing this thread up once again this late but I just changed the amber bulbs from a tl type s through the fender lining. can't we do the same with the IS350's? when I decide to get those bulbs i'm goin to try that. just take off a couple of clips / screws of the fender by turning your whells and reach around to replace the amber bulbs for turn signals. if anyone has already tried this then please let me know how it worked.
Be my guest and do it, then I want to see you go "D'OH". When you realize all you see is the car's frame.
Changing the bulbs through the fender was way easier then this method. But I believe there is a way to reach from under the bumper, by jacking up the car, and pushing the lining out of the way.

hahaha that's funny. I did do that, I tore off my fender lining and did go "D'OH" and then I came back here and saw your post. awesome. I guess patience is a virtue. should've read up on this again and decided not to waste time. I love this site.
