Hello,
1) The 4300k kit may have a slight yellowish tinge once you install the kit however the Philips 4300k bulbs do colour shift. They will get slightly bluer with time. According to Philips the bulbs will reach colour temperatuers of up to 4700k.
2) The XenonDepot kits come with a one year warranty. Should something go wrong, you are fully covered as we do stand behind our products. XenonDepot has been selling HID conversion kits for 6.5 years now and have been an advertising vendor on this site for a while as well. Essentially, an advertised warranty is really only good so long as the place you purchase the kit from stays in business.
3) We sell our products to several Lexus dealerships. They like the product due to the additional wiring harness. The harness literally plugs into your OEM wiring harness with no wire splicing or cutting. Everything is plug+play and the harness will ensure you do not strain your vehicle's wiring harness.

well eug, i live in SF and i put HID on my camry myself and they look fine. the only hard thing is to mount the ballastto somewhere inside the 2IS cause the engine bay is too packed. i have a couple places in mind. Visual peformance @ 23rd ave and Noriega in the sunset. or speedzone in the mission, i dont know where exactly. it will cost you, and the job is not guaranteed perfect

I would have gotten the stock hids but I got my car back in Nov 2005 and it was not an option on the only fully loaded model they had at the dealership where I got it. But it just not right when a GTI pulls up next to me with stock HIDs cause that's what I came from. 03 VW GTI

which is the better product: mtec or xenondepot for the follwing issues
1) minimal modification to existing lights (i.e. drilling)
2) ease of installation (i.e. plug and play)
3) overall quality of product, and
4) availablity of replacement bulbs.

So what causes condensation issues anyways? If the drilled hole was a bit too big and leaked water or whatever in it? Appreciate the input by the way.

newis350:
Naturally Im biased but as per your questions:
1) On the IS, The only thing that would set one installation apart from the other would be if the kit came with a wiring harness. Other than that, the installation would be the same. By wiring harness i mean that the HID kit comes with a harness that powers the ballast directly from the battery as opposed to from the OEM headlight harness.
2) Quality / Product - Im not going to comment on the MTEC kit as I do not make it a habit to comment on alternate products. Having said that, I will say that both the XenonDepot line and Xtreme line kits that we carry are great. Should you ever have a problem, XenonDepot will stand behind the warranty that comes with the product. Being an authrized vendor on this site doesnt just mean that you have the right to sell the product. You also need to make sure you take care of the members should a problem ever arise.
3) Replacement components are readily available.
