Aftermarket HID Kits Main Concerns

XD vs. MTEC
Steve,
I was wondering if you guys were going to offer the type of grommet that comes on the proxenon kit or the MTEC Kit? I am having a hard time with the XD Kit and the grommet issue. I guess i really like the idea of the grommet fitting specificly to the wires so I don't have to mess with silicone or aftermarket grommets. This seems to be my only issue with the XD kit.
Any help is appreciated.

Naturally Im biased but as per your questions:
1) On the IS, The only thing that would set one installation apart from the other would be if the kit came with a wiring harness. Other than that, the installation would be the same. By wiring harness i mean that the HID kit comes with a harness that powers the ballast directly from the battery as opposed to from the OEM headlight harness.
2) Quality / Product - Im not going to comment on the MTEC kit as I do not make it a habit to comment on alternate products. Having said that, I will say that both the XenonDepot line and Xtreme line kits that we carry are great. Should you ever have a problem, XenonDepot will stand behind the warranty that comes with the product. Being an authrized vendor on this site doesnt just mean that you have the right to sell the product. You also need to make sure you take care of the members should a problem ever arise.
3) Replacement components are readily available.

I am unrelated to Xenon Depot but can vouch for their after-sales service!
I bought a H11 4300K kit from XenonDepot recently only to discover a faulty ballast after installation.
However, Steve/Xenon Depot stepped up to their warranty and had a replacement ballast shipped to me within 2 weeks of my complaint.
Now everything works fine and I'm a happy camper! Thanx Xenon Depot!
